From the heartland of the world’s most sparsely populated country, Mongolia, to the interior of the world’s biggest country, Russia, this is another Compass Expeditions ride that journeys through a rarely travelled part of the world that is wild, remote and utterly stunning.

This incredibly scenic ride, being led by Charley Boorman and his good mate Billy Ward, starts with an overnight ferry crossing from Melbourne to Tasmania. Once in Tasmania we ride east toward the spectacular Freycinet National Park and Coles Bay. Crossing the Tasman back into Victoria the ride ventures into the Victorian High Country entering Kosciusko National Park in NSW before riding down onto the coast and riding north finishing in Sydney
Due to an exciting filming project, the details of which have not yet been released, Charley Boorman will no longer be able to lead our Victoria Falls to Cape Town Tour in 2019.
However, Billy Ward, who will now be leading the ride, has been Charley’s manager and good friend for over ten years. He undertook the recce riders for Charley’s African tours and has been the lead rider for Charley on a number of tours in the past.
