BOLIVIA: Ride this country of superlatives
This is a motorcycle tour through some of the continents most spectacular scenery. We will ride through some very remote high Altiplano on our way to the world’s largest salt flats near Uyuni. Being out on the “Salar” is a visual overload where even the horizon is difficult to establish. We spend time immersed in this staggering scenery surrounded by islands dotted with giant cacti and lagoons filled with Flamingo’s underneath towering snow capped volcano’s. This challenging ride will see us visit the world’s highest city of Potosi and also the UNESCO listed, and Bolivia’s capital, Sucre as well as the bustling city of La Paz.

Tour start: La Paz, Bolivia Tour end: La Paz, Bolivia
Ride profile: 70% dirt, 30% paved, most dirt roads are hard packed and easy to ride, however there is one day on the ride that involves 4 shallow creek crossings and some very short sections of sand (nothing extreme). Average ride per day between 200 kilometres/ 160 miles to 400 kilometres/ 250 miles.
Ride days: Six (the bikes are also available for personal use on non-ride days) no extra cost.
