South America 360
Arrival into Ushuaia, Argentina
Justin reports
Riding through more of Patagonia today, with luck, not such wild winds today, as they are most of the time. We made it to Cerro Sombrero, Chile.
It was bit chilly, rainy and foggy, but the winds left us alone.
The bikes and new Sprinter van are all wearing their coats of dirt from the road, and are in need of a warm wash as soon as the rainy weather stops.

The trees that grow in the Patagonia region all grow in one lopsided direction, because of the very strong winds that are persist for most of the year.

Crossing the Straight of Magellan on the half hour ferry ride. Some local dolphins showed themselves during the trip. Again, a nice ride across without the crazy choppy waters from the gale force winds that are present here most of the year.

Getting out of the fog and back into clearer weather, and onto the awesome twisty roads that lead into Ushuaia. We have arrived at El Fin Del Mundo, the end of the world, Ushuaia.
More to come…
