Travel south through the Baja Peninsula Sand Cactus and the sea. Cross the sierra from the Pacific to the Gulf of California. This paved road tour lets you take in the authentic Baja experience – beaches, deserts, forests of giant cactus and mountain passes. This ride features a day long ferry ride back to the mainland and a night in the mainland beach town of San Carlos. We will follow the route north as traveled by Coronado north as he searched for the seven cities of gold before we return to the USA. This tour starts and ends in Phoenix, AZ.
