This superb ride offers a great taste of all that Southern Australia has to offer. From the iconic Blue Mountains to the legendary High Country, Ancients landscapes, wild rivers and world renowned coastal rides this ride has it all.
Grade 1 Bike Tour
95% of this ride is paved; the road conditions can vary from good smooth bitumen to potholed thin ribbons of tar with high & rough shoulders. A lot of this riding will be in the country on narrow roads with the possibility of wandering stock and wildlife.
5 % of this ride is off road this is the Wee Jasper Road toward Tumut on day 2 with a total of 115ks. This dirt consists of gravel and can have some washouts if recent rains have been experienced, (an “on road” option is available). Some other off road / dirt options do exist.

Day one: Goulburn
Today’s ride takes us out of Sydney and up into the Blue Mountains where we stop at the stunning views of the 3 sister’s lookout from Echo Point. From Katoomba we ride onto Oberon and turn south through rolling countryside and onto Australia’s first inland city of Goulburn our overnight stay.
Day two: Tumut
We ride to Canberra today via the lonely Tarago road. In Canberra we shall visit the amazing and moving War Memorial before riding onto Yass then taking the dirt (115ks) of the Wee Jasper Way toward Tumut and our overnight stay at the biker friendly Royal Hotel
Day three: Bright
An extraordinary ride today of winding mountain roads and spectacular scenery into the high country of the Kosciuszko National Park through Cabramurra and Khancoban and onto Corryong. From Corryong we ride onto one of the jewels in Victoria’s crown, Bright, spectacularly set at the foothills of the Alpine National Park.
Day four: Castlemaine
From Bright we ride south along the Great Dividing Range to Lake Eildon before crossing the Hume Highway and riding into the trendy yet very scenic Macedon Ranges region before arriving at our destination of the old Gold rush town of Castlemaine
Day five: Echuca
Riding north we cross the vast farmlands of Northern Victoria through small country towns en-route to the historical township of Echuca located on the mighty Murray River. An afternoon & night is spent here allowing us time to explore what is known as the Paddle steamer capital of the world
Day six & seven: Halls Gap
Today’s ride travels south west through more tiny settlements and farmlands toward the 300 million year old Grampians National Park where we spend the next 2 nights. A stunning, (dirt), ride can be enjoyed through the Grampians valley or for the paved road only riders numerous vantage points and lookouts can be ridden to. 2 nights are spent here allowing us time to really explore one of the most ancient landscapes in the world.
Day eight: Port Campbell
We ride onto the legendary Great Ocean Road today visiting the many superb lookouts that dot this spectacular coastline of towering cliffs that rise above pounding seas. A visit to the iconic 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge are all part of this stunning ride. Tonight is spent in the beautiful port town of Port Campbell where we can enjoy a beer and seafood meal at a pub overlooking the bay.
Day nine: Queenscliff
Continuing along the Great Ocean road we shall visit the Cape Otway lighthouse for guaranteed Koala sightings before riding onto the Bellarine Peninsular and staying overnight at the historic resort town of Queenscliff, a favorite for Melbournian’s since the 1880s with its classic hotels and wide streets.
Day ten: Melbourne
A short ferry ride will see us on the Mornington Peninsular before riding to Phillip Island, home of the MotoGP and onward to the famous Reefton and Black Spur rides through the stunning Yarra Ranges National park. This wonderful 10 day ride terminates in Melbourne.
