I am Jerry Truman, the ride leader and Andrei is doing great job in the Compass support vehicle known as Truckasaurus.
We are into the second half of the tour and aside from 2600kms of incredible outback riding, we have enjoyed three boat trips, including the jumping crocs at Adelaide River, an amazing sunset dinner cruise at Nitmiluk George and a Yellow Waters sunrise cruise in the beautiful Kakadu National Park.
Some have taken a helicopter flight over Uluru and a hot air balloon ride from Alice Springs.
Wildlife has been abundant and included crocodiles, kangaroos, emus, snakes, camels, goannas, dingoes and a wide variety of native bird life. We also saw some aliens at Wycliffe Wells!
It has been an action packed ten days and we have another nine to go before reaching our final destination in Melbourne.
Enjoy the first round of photos and stay tuned for the post of the second half of the tour.
